Castro Tries To Put A Sock In Free Speech

Have you heard about this?
It seems there is this new, giant news ticker mounted in the U.S. diplomatic mission in Havana, Cuba that beams human rights and democracy messages into the night in big crimson letters. The 9-foot-high letters, running through 25 windows on the building's fifth floor, can be seen for miles.

Castro is pissed! After marching more than a million people by the building earlier this week to protest the ticker, he's now ordered construction workers to extend an open-air stage that's in front of the mission to within yards of the gate. He plans to mount huge flags on the stage to block the ticker from view.

How's a guy supposed to be a great dictator when somebody keeps telling his people the truth?
