Not My Fault
| When are people going to start taking responsibility for themselves and stop blaming other people for everything bad that happens in their life? Just like Hurricane Katrina, the Asian Tsunami, Global Warming, etc. etc. has been blamed on President Bush, now an Advocacy group is warning Kellogg Foods and Viacom to tone down junk food ads on TV. They claim junk food is making American kids unhealthy, and is threatening to sue for a billion dollars if they won't tone down ads aimed at kids. I don't believe characters like Tony the Tiger and Spongebob Squarepants are making kids eat that crap. Parents can always turn off the TV or just say "NO". Nobody is holding a gun to their head to force them to buy junk food for their kids. I think it's high time people start taking responsibility for their own lives and those of their children. If you or your kids are fat... that's YOUR fault! So stop blaming Bush and Spongebob. |
