It's About To Hit The Fan

The Jyllands-Postens, the Danish newspaper that first printed the infamous Muhammad cartoons last September, is standing up for free speech. They have posted a manifesto to say they refuse to be intimidated by Islamism.
"After having overcome fascism, Nazism, and Stalinism, the world now faces a new totalitarian global threat: Islamism.
We, writers, journalists, intellectuals, call for resistance to religious totalitarianism and for the promotion of freedom, equal opportunity and secular values for all." Read it all
12 brave intellectuals, including Salman Rushdie, author of the Satanic Verses, and several women, have signed off on the document. There are plans to reprint this document all over Europe and probably the world by tomorrow.

Expect this NOT to go over too well with radical Muslims. If they were ready to riot and kill over a few stupid cartoons, imagine how they are going to react now that these 12 brave souls have basically told them all to GO F&%K themselves.
