Jill Carroll Rejects Statements

Jill Carroll has recanted her earlier statements and 'propaganda video'. "During my last night in captivity, my captors forced me to participate in a propaganda video. They told me I would be released if I cooperated. I was living in a threatening environment, under their control, and wanted to go home alive. So I agreed," she said in a statement read by her editor in Boston. "...But let me be clear: I abhor all who kidnap and murder civilians, and my captors are clearly guilty of both crimes." I suspected as much. But it's still nice when one of these former hostages comes clean and tells it like it was. But it also makes you wonder why those other freed Christian Peace Team members are NOT admitting that their former captors are the bad guys in this conflict. Unless of course, they were willing participants in their ordeal. Which, in turn, raises more questions about the torture and murder of their only American member Tom Fox.
