Watch Closely Now..

I find it interesting the way the news media continues to try and make it up as they go along rather than go out and cover actual news that happens to regular everyday people. Earlier I mentioned how NBC was trying to provoke NASCAR fans to do something they could 'report' about to show how rednecks are racists. Then there was the story of CBS 60 Minutes Mike Wallace, and how he would rather watch and 'report' on American soldiers being killed, before he would warn them of an ambush.

Today the headlines are all about how the 'White House refuses to discuss Bush role in Iraq war leaks', or 'White House Sidesteps Questions On Leaks'. As if the act of NOT saying anything about a very old, non-story is an admission of guilt.

If you follow that line of thinking, then what about my email to Jimmy Carter, where I called him a dried up old fart and a traitor to his country? I haven't received a reply from him yet, so he must agree with me, right?

And how about when I said John Kerry was a flip-flopping, liberal weenie?
I got no answer from him either, so it MUST be true.

But hey!... They've been on this Bush hating rampage for six years now, and they've been so consumed by it, that they forget he'll be gone in two years and we'll have another guy just like him in the White House before they figure out they should be trying to find a reasonable candidate of their own.

It's all just Smoke and Mirrors, Baby!
