Just as I predicted below, the bus driver didn't get fired for "unprofessional conduct" when she gave Bush the finger in front of the students on her bus. Oh, Noooo! She got canned because some ravenous right-wing nut-job conservative went after her in a personal vendetta. Then he lied to everyone about when he did it. And then he even bragged about it. SEATTLE (AP) - U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert bragged at a Republican Party picnic last summer that the day after a school bus driver flipped off President Bush, he called the district's superintendent, leaving picnic-goers with the impression that he was responsible for getting the driver fired. So, does that mean it's NOT her fault? If somebody from the Dallas Police Dept. told the story of arresting Lee Harvey Oswald at a picnic, then "bragged" about getting him the same day he shot and killed President Kennedy... does that let Oswald off the hook? My God!.. This is a far, far different world than I grew up in. And just for the record...I don't blame Bush!
