Cheney's office denies he's in Iraq BAGHDAD (Reuters) U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney's office on Thursday denied reports he was in Iraq for a previously unannounced visit to celebrate the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday with U.S. troops. Asked whether Cheney was in Baghdad or anywhere else in Iraq, the U.S. military said it was "unaware of any information of the vice president being in Baghdad." So, why is this even considered 'News'? The MSM is still pissed that Cheney won't play ball with them. He stiffed them on the hunting accident story, and he now refuses to let them set him up for assassination when he goes out of his way, and possibly into harm's way, to support the troops on Thanksgiving. I'll bet if he DID let them know about this trip beforehand, they'd spin it into a story about how he's being an attention whore, or how he's trying to "distract the American public from this administration's failed policies"... Blah Blah Blah... But this is why I love Dick Cheney. While he and I both respect Freedom of Speech and the rights of others to have opinions that differ from ours, we also believe those same rights apply to us as well. But if you DON'T agree that we're entitled to our opinion too... then you can Go F**K yourself.
